Baiba

Hardiness: USDA Zone 6 (−17°C to −23°C)

This elegant spray rose captivates with its peony-like flower form and enchants with soft pink tones. Its buds open into densely double rosettes with wavy petals, evoking a touch of nostalgia and romance. The blooms are gathered in lush clusters and adorn the shrub throughout the season.

The rose forms a neat, rounded bush with strong shoots and glossy dark-green foliage, resistant to diseases. The absence of fragrance makes this variety ideal for those who prefer aesthetic appeal and resilience without overwhelming scent. The flowers look highly decorative and retain their freshness in a vase for up to 10 days, making the variety perfect for cutting and floristry.

Perfect for: borders, flowerbeds, mixed borders, and cut arrangements. Looks splendid in bouquets and compositions thanks to its full blossoms and gentle coloration.

Blooming: repeat, abundant, and nearly continuous. The flowers appear in large clusters of 3–5 blooms.

Disease resistance: high.

Planting Location:

Roses thrive in sunny locations, so choose spots with plenty of sunlight throughout the day. Ensure the planting site is sheltered from strong winds.

*The female name given to the rose is not a variety name. A rose is like a woman, beautiful, elegant and unique, so each one inspired us for a woman’s name as well.
